JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ/ Writs, Order/Orders, Direction/Directions, for directing the Respondent-Authorities to enquire into the matter relating to the illegality and irregularity made by Respondent Nos.6 and 7 in making construction of pucca soling lane and road, in three areas of Badka Gram Panchayat, Block-

(ii) For issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus, for directing the Respondent Nos.6 and 7 to return the blank Cheques, signed by the petitioner and Secretary of the Committee, Anita Devi which were taken by the Respondent No.7 from the petitioner, through her husband, taking them in confidence and after receiving the Cheques, the Respondent Nos. 6 and 7 withdrew the money from the Account of the petitioner, sanctioned under the aforesaid Scheme and have misappropriated the money.

(iii) For further direction to the Respondent Nos.6 and 7 to render the accounts regarding the construction work, done under the aforesaid Scheme and also to give the accounts of the money withdrawn by them.

(iv) For further direction to the respondents, after making enquiry, if the Respondent Nos.6 and 7 are found guilty of illegality, irregularity in making construction work and misappropriation of money, then they may be punished suitably and criminal proceeding may be initiated against them."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate-Siwan for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
