The learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer to issuance of a direction to the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif to dispose off the appeal, filed by the petitioners on 24.04.2023, against the order dated 23.02.2023 and 01.04.2023, passed by the Circle Officer, Noorsarai, District -Nalanda, in connection with Encroachment case no. 16 of 2022-23, however, it is submitted that some protection

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to direct the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioners, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from today and till then, status quo existing as on today qua the land/ house of the petitioners in question, shall be maintained.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
