JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-07-2019 The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 21.02.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 51031 of 2017 to the extent of extending the period of surrender for execution of the bail bonds.

The petitioners, being the husband and parents-in-law of the complainant-opposite party no. 2 preferred Cr. Misc. No. 51031 of 2017 with a prayer for anticipatory bail in a case complaint case wherein process has been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offence punishable under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42474 of 2019(2) dt.10-07-2019 2/2 Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Since the complainant in spite of valid service of notice did not appear, the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 21.02.2019. Considering the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended by four weeks from the date receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Complaint Case No. 1120 of 2016, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Ist Class, Katihar.

The order dated 21.02.2019 is modified to the extent indicated above.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
