JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 25-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 212 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 304(B), 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner is husband of the deceased. There is allegation in the written report that sister of the informant (since deceased) had been tortured for demand of dowry by this petitioner. Duragman was performed six months ago. On 2.12.2016 the informant learnt that his sister was killed by this petitioner and her dead body was cremated in the river. In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34557 of 2017 (2) dt.25-07-2017 2/2 Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
