2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 45 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and Sections 221/262/263/3(5) of the BNS.

3. Prosecution case in brief is that on the basis of secret information, a raid was conducted to apprehend accused Vikash Kumar.When the police went to arrest him and took him in in custody, family members of Vikash Kumar including his father Ravindra Prasad (petitioner No. 3) and cousins Rakesh Kumar (petitioner No. 1) and Anoj Kumar (petitioner No. 2)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45168 of 2025(2) dt.15-07-2025 2/2 obstructed and forcefully resisted the police action and got Vikash Kumar released from custody.

4. Considering the accusation that these petitioners obstructed and forcefully resisted the police action and got released accused Vikash Kumar from police custody and obstructed them from discharging official duty, their prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
