The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.
The police has received an information that huge quantity of liquor has been kept in a hut. The police has gone there and found that hut was closed. Any how the police entered in the hut and found huge quantity of liquor. The persons in the surrounding area have stated that liquor has been kept by Meena Devi and Rani Devi.
Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24781 of 2017 (2) dt.11-07-2017 the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioners, namely, Meena Devi and Rani Devi, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Katihar in connection with Katihar Town P.S.
