In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 227 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 379, 411, 413, 401 and 414 /34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is accused in three other criminal cases. In this case, the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused. Looking to the nature of allegation as also the fact that the petitioner has three criminal antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders
