JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 10-05-2023 Heard Mr. Shubh Narain Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, learned AC to learned GP-20 appearing on behalf of the State and Mr. Ritesh Kumar, learned counsel for the University.

2. The petitioner, who had retired from the post of reader on 31.08.2020 has filed the present writ petition for following relief(s):

Patna High Court CWJC No.11955 of 2022 dt.10-05-2023 2/3 "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ(s), direction(s), to the respondents for the following reliefs:- (i) For command and directing the respondents for payment of retirement benefits and other consequential benefits attached to the post like (i) Group Insurance with 121/2% compound interest amounting to Rs. 4,78,773/-."

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that all the retiral dues has already been paid to the petitioner. Only Group Insurance has not been paid.

4. Considering the submission made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner within a period of three weeks and make payment of all the admitted retiral dues i.e. Group Insurance with applicable rate of interest.

5. Registrar must take note of the fact that all the dues which have not been paid to the petitioner are admitted dues and therefore he must not take any technical plea to delay the payment, not beyond a period of four weeks.

6. The petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation within the aforesaid period.

7. Registrar is directed to communicate to the petitioner at his own level that all the due amount payable to the

8. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
