JUSTICE P. B. BAJANTHRI) Date : 29-03-2024 The present MJC-contempt petition is filed for non compliance of order dated 18.04.2022 passed in CWJC No. 5332 of 2021.

2. It is learnt that petitioner is entitled to certain amount. To that effect an order has been passed on 26.08.2022. However, till date whatever the amount due to the petitioner has not been released in his favour as on this day. Therefore,

Patna High Court MJC No.1478 of 2022 dt.29-03-2024 2/2 petitioner is entitled to interest at the rate of 6% per annum on whatever the amount determined by the official respondent. The same shall be disbursed in his favour within a period of three weeks from today.

3. Accordingly, the present MJC-contempt petition stands dropped. If the concerned respondent fails to comply today's order, in that event, petitioner is at liberty to file interlocutory application to revive today's order.
