2. The petitioner superannuated from the post of Senior Lecturer long back on 31.12.2014 in the Department of Botany from Jagdamba College, Chpara under Jai Prakash University, Chapra, has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the respondent authorities to ensure payment of the admissible dues as has been disclosed in para-1 of the present writ petition.

3. Learned Advocate for the University has prayed for

Patna High Court CWJC No.10782 of 2025(2) dt.23-07-2025 2/2 a short adjournment to seek instruction(s) and inform this Court with regard to the present position as also with respect to the entitlement of the petitioner to the claim as has been made herein.

4. Considering the nature of the grievance, this Court deems it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition giving liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the respondent no.5, the Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra along with the order of this Court.

5. In case, such a representation is filed preferably within a period of four weeks from today, the University shall consider the claim of the petitioner and dispose off by a speaking order.

6. Suffice it to observe that in case any of the claim of the petitioner finds favour, necessary consequential benefit shall be accorded within a further period of eight weeks.

7. The writ petition stands disposed off.
