By way of the present writ petition preferred under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of the first information report of the Bhagwanpur Hat P.S. Case No. 13 of 2016 instituted under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

On perusal of the first information report, as contained in Annexture-1 to this writ petition, I find that ingredients of offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code are clearly attracted.

In that view of the matter, I see no illegality either in institution of the first information report by the Officer-In-

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.906 of 2016(4) dt.03-01-2019 2/2 Charge or its investigation by the investigating officer. In that view of the matter, I see no merit in this writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed.
