Despite valid service of notice, on repeated calls, no body appears on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Raniganj P.S.Case No. 95 of 2017 registered under Section 7 of the E.C.Act.
Considering the allegation that the informant seized 79 bags of 50 kg each of rice loaded on the tractor, which was kept in Jute bag having F.C.I. marks and the villagers present there alleged with regard to black-marketing of subsidized rice by the petitioner and, on verification, stock of the PDS shop of the petitioner was found nil as also the stock and price board was not
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25247 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 maintained and no register was produced, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is rejected.
