The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 278 of 2016, (G.R. No. 2368 of 2016) for offence under Sections 498(A),323, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry and Prohibition Act.
Accusation is that of torture and assault of the complainant-informant by her husband and in-laws for nonfulfillment of the demand of dowry and removes her from her matrimonial house after snatching her ornaments. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25692 of 2017 (3) dt.08-09-2017 2/2 submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case and is ready to keep his wife with full dignity and honour.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 278 of 2016 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
