In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.147 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R. the victim was married with Ajay Kumar. Allegation has been made that accused persons were demanding Rs.20,000/- from the informant, when the money was not given, they killed her by strangulation.

The petitioner no.1 is the mother-in-law, petitioner no.2 is the sister-in-law (Gotni), petitioner no.3 is the sister-in-

Looking to the facts and circumstance of the case, let the above-named petitioner nos. 2 and 3, namely, Madhumita Devi and Anita Devi, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura, in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.147 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. So far as the bail of petitioner nos.1 and 4 is concerned, the same is rejected.
