1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case no. 207 of 2024, registered under sections 323, 341, 353, 504, 427 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that on reaching near the Scorpio vehicle on the date and time of occurrence at about 10 pm in the night, it is stated that the four persons who were there in the vehicle misbehaved with the police personnel, abused him and threw ice cream on him. It is further stated that they obstructed him in carrying out his duties.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The FIR was

The name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused Saurabh Kumar made before police. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and undertakes to cooperate in the case.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner, the name of the petitioner transpiring in the confessional statement of co-accused made before police and the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case no. 207 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna.
