2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Katihar Nagar P.S. Case No. 792 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 331(4), 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of committing theft in the house of the informant. Gold jwellery and cash of Rs. 20,000/- was looted.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 04.11.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. The petitioner has been identified as his face was captured in the CCTV footage. The petitioner has four criminal antecedents. He belongs to Kodha gang.

7. Considering the aforesaid, this application for regular bail is hereby dismissed.
