2.The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Mehndiganj P.S. Case No. 85 of 2024 instituted for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant was intercepted by unknown miscreants who assaulted him by iron rod etc. and snatched Rs. 37,377/- along with a golden chain. Further, the informant called his brother who called the police but till then the accused persons had fled away. It is next

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that in this case even the name of the persons who have disclosed the name of this petitioner, has not been disclosed. It has also been submitted that similarly situated accused persons, namely, Bittu Kumar, Rajan Kumar and Kalin Kumar have been granted anticipatory bail by learned co-ordinate Bench of vide Cr. Misc. No. 63223 of 2024, 83008 of 2024 and 67011 of 2024 respectively. The case of this petitioner stands on similar footing. Petitioner is having no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has conceded the argument of learned counsel for the petitioner that similarly situated accused persons have been granted bail by learned Coordinate Bench.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of
