The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.261 of 2016 registered under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of torturing the complainant/opposite party no.2 by her husband (petitioner) and other in-laws for non fulfillment of the demand of freeze and gold chain in dowry and also to remove the complainant/opposite party no.2 from the matrimonial house by snatching her personal belongings.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26871 of 2017 (3) dt.12-09-2017 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner happens to be the husband of the complainant/opposite party no.2 and he is still ready to keep his wife (the complainant/opposite party no.2) with full honour and dignity.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bikramganj, Rohtas, in connection with Complaint Case No.261 of 2016, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
