JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-05-2025 Heard Mr. Rajiva Ranjan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr. Rajesh Prasad Choudhary, learned counsel for the respondent/s.
2. The petitioners in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition have sought inter alia following relief(s), which is
Patna High Court CWJC No.16725 of 2021(3) dt.09-05-2025 2/3 reproduced hereinafter:
"I. To pay the salary to the petitioners and other teaching and non-teaching staff for the period of year, 2008-2011 which comes in the University as 4th Anudan Amount of Rs.1,19,52,300/- after constituting the team by the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar directly in the account of working teaching and non-teaching staffs.
II. To pay the amount by the respondents to the teaching and non-teaching staffs directly in their account on the basis of giving affidavit by 1st Class Judicial Magistrate by the Teaching and Nonteaching staffs because at present in that college there is no permanent Principal and Secretary is available.
III. And this Hon'ble Court directed himself the way of payment which is pending in the Veer Kunwar Singh University and the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff are said to have came on the verge of death due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
IV. For any other relief/reliefs to which the petitioners may be entitled to."
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners seeks to file detailed individual representations before the Registrar of the Veer Kunwar Singh University for the relief(s) as prayed for in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition.
4. Considering the aforesaid submission, the Registrar of the Veer Kunwar Singh University is directed to call for the service particulars relating to the petitioners from the governing body of the institution, who has appointed the petitioners and see that the petitioners are paid from the 4th Grant Amount and dispose of the individual representations filed on behalf of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.16725 of 2021(3) dt.09-05-2025 3/3 petitioners expeditiously, in accordance with law.
5. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
