ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 13-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No. 203 of 2016 for the offences registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation against the petitioner is that while the informant was coming from duty he had restrained the petitioner from running the loud speaker on which the petitioner attacked the informant with a knife and obstructed him in performing his duty. Admittedly, as per the first information report, the knife blow caused on the left eye of the informant was but a scratch. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the

No.27448 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 case and also the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate -II, Saharsa in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No. 203 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
