2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 181 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-376 & 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Allegedly, on the false pretext of marriage, the petitioner is said to have committed rape upon the informant.

4. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that during trial, the victim has been examined as P.W. 1 in Sessions Trial No. 484 of 2024 and she has stated that without being read over, her signature was obtained on the fardbeyan. She has also stated that she has compromised the case.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-Ist, Saran at Chapra in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 181 of 2024 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 484 of 2024 subject to the condition that the petitioner will cooperate in trial and shall make himself available as and when required by the court.
