The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bachhwara P.S. Case No. 95 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 337, 307, 384, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner and others are said to have assaulted the informant, his father and his brother. The informant and his brother are said to have received simple injuries but the father of the informant has received grievous injury on his wrist but that injury is attributable to all accused persons and not specifically to the petitioner. The learned counsel for the State, however, submits that the counter case appears to be an attempt on the part of the petitioner to hide his own skin and that the injury said to have been suffered by him also does not appear to be correctly projected.
Be that as it may, regard being had to the fact that the petitioner has remained in custody since 12.06.2022 and in all other cases, in which he was earlier made accused, he has been granted bail and the possibility of his implication because of land dispute between the parties, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Bachhwara P.S.
