BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 18-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for respective parties. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "For issuance of an appropriate writ or writs/order or directions to the respondent authorities to conclude the departmental proceeding and pass the final order within a reasonable time taking into consideration that reply to the second show cause was filed on 21.12.2016 but the proceeding remains pending unreasonably, maliciously and contrary to the statutory provision and further grant the benefits attached with the post on the basis of out put proceeding and for other necessary relief or reliefs on the basis of facts and circumstances of the case discussed

The petitioner was subjected to disciplinary proceeding in framing of article of charges on 12.05.2016. It is learnt that second show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner for which petitioner submitted his explanation on 21.12.2016. However, the disciplinary authority has not passed any final order. Therefore, the disciplinary authority is hereby directed to pass the final order in a disciplinary proceedings which is stated to be initiated within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the present petition stands disposed off.
