JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL ORDER 25-02-2022 Heard the parties through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with CI Case no. 203 of 2020, Balsi P.S. PR-19 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the truck which has been seized and on search huge quantity of liquor has been recovered. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner stays in Bengal and he cannot be connected with the alleged offence.

I have considered the submission and taking into consideration the provision of Section 32 of the Bihar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56323 of 2021(2) dt.25-02-2022 2/2 Prohibition and Excise Act, as the petitioner is the owner of the truck, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application is dismissed.
