The petitioner has challenged the order dated 17.05.2019 passed by the District Programme Officer-cum1st Appellate Authority, Patna in Anganwari Appeal Case No. 44 of 2017, whereby the selection of the petitioner on the post of Anganwari Sevika in Ward No. 4 of Village - Gonpura in the district of Patna has been cancelled and the C.D.P.O. has been directed to issue a letter of engagement

Patna High Court CWJC No.13895 of 2019(2) dt.12-07-2019 2/2 to the private-respondent no. 5 in place of the petitioner. The petitioner has not appealed against the aforesaid order before the District Magistrate, Patna who is the second appellate authority in such matters. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to prefer an appeal against the order impugned in the present petition before the District Magistrate, Patna within a period of four weeks, who, on receipt of the same, shall after giving adequate opportunity to the parties including the private-respondent no. 5, pass an order in accordance with law within a further period of eight weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
