The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sahebganj P.S. case No. 174 of 2019 registered under Section 272, 273 of the IPC and u/s 30(a) (d) (e) (g)/ 36 of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The informant got information that Hira Paswan and his son Chunnu Paswan, the petitioner, are indulged in illegal trade of liquor from their cattle shed and on such raid was conducted. Hira Paswan was apprehended but the petitioner managed to flee away. On search, about 58 liters of different brands of whiskey and wrapper of Royal Stag was recovered from the cattle shed of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that father of the petitioner was arrested and on his disclosure name

No.44207 of 2019(2) dt.18-07-2019 2/2 of petitioner surfaced in the case but it appears that informant got information that both father and son were indulged in illegal trade of liquor and on such father of the petitioner was apprehended but petitioner managed to flee away and on search huge quantity of illicit liquor was recovered. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
