2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 190, 191 (2), 126(2), 115 (2), 109 (1), 132, 121 (1), 121 (2), 352, 351 (2) of BNS and section 3 of Damage of Public Property Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that police personnel have apprehended a person who was carrying illicit liquor. It is alleged that petitioner along with others has made attempt to release him and also assaulted the police party with lathi, danda and bricks.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is not

It is not clear from the FIR as to whom the petitioner has assaulted. Moreover, the police personnel have received simple injury. He further submits that similarly situated coaccused namely, Sakichan Paswan has been granted bail by this court vide Cr. Misc. No. 47300 of 2026. A statement has been made in para-3 that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 08.05.2026.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Chanan P.S. Case No. 81 of 2026 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. -III, Lakhisarai.
