JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-07-2017 The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 323, 354, 354B, 498A, 120B, 504, 379 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was members of Panchayat, which had assembled for settlement of dispute between the husband and wife. During Panchayati, allegation is that the petitioner and others attempted to outrage the modesty of the informant. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is a covillager and there is no specific allegation against him. He further submits that the husband of the informant was granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
