The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Allegation of torture has been made against the husband. It has been alleged that after the marriage Sasural people were demanding Refrigerator, Almirah and cash.
