2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barh P.S. Case No. 584 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 379, 440, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 15(2), 15(4), 16 of Petroleum and Minerals Pipe Lines (Acquisition of Right of user in Land) Act, 1962 and Section 7 of E.C. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of committing theft of oil from the Indian Oil Corporation.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51065 of 2024(5) dt.29-01-2025 2/2 that petitioner has not committed any offence and is in custody since 18.04.2024.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
