JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the instant writ application is being filed for issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to pay arrears of sitting allowance to the petitioner from June 2014 till date on account of the work done by the petitioner as Chairman of Child Welfare Committee, Banka."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the Respondents submits that payment has been made to the petitioner for the period January, 2014 to July, 2014, however, since the petitioner had not been attending the meeting of the Child Welfare
Patna High Court CWJC No.2652 of 2016(3) dt.19-09-2024 2/2 Committee, thereafter, no sitting allowance is payable to the petitioner and in fact, a show cause has been issued to the petitioner, seeking his reply regarding his long absence in the meetings of the Child Welfare Committee, as also with respect to the forged experience certificate submitted by him. 3.
The aforesaid aspect of the matter has not been controverted by the petitioner, inasmuch as no rejoinder affidavit has been filed, hence, this Court is satisfied that the Respondent authorities have paid the outstanding amount of sitting allowance to the petitioner, which was due and payable.
