JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 17-09-2021 The instant case has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID 19 Pandemic, requiring social distancing.
The present petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities specially the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation to make payment of the admitted outstanding dues of the petitioner totaling to a sum of
Patna High Court CWJC No.2542 of 2021(2) dt.17-09-2021 2/2 Rs. 64,96,177/-, along with appropriate penal interest, against the work done according to the measurement book. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to enable the petitioner to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation i.e. the respondent no. 3 for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. The learned counsel for the respondent-Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation has got no objection.
Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 3 i.e. the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation for redressal of his aforesaid grievances and in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered by the respondent no. 3 and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter and in case any admitted outstanding dues is found payable, the same shall be paid within a further period of eight weeks, therefrom.
