The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Ramgarhwa P.S. Case No. 188 of 2018 registered for the offences under Sections 304B, 120B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

First information report was registered on 19.08.2018. Till date the petitioner has not been arrested by the police though there is no interim protection granted by this Court. This Court cannot be a mute spectator in respect of inaction of the police in such a serious case. Petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below or before the local police by 5th of November, 2021. If the petitioner does not surrender by 8th of November, 2021 then the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40315 of 2020(3) dt.02-11-2021 2/2 Superintendent of Police, East Champaran is directed to arrest the petitioner by 17th of November, 2021 and file a compliance affidavit in this Court on or before 17th of November, 2021. Superintendent of Police, East Champaran will also inform this Court as to what has been done by the police to trace the victim till date.
