Limited direction is for petitioner to submit representation or application, representation within a period of four weeks from 04.01.2022. The petitioner had submitted representation on 31.01.2022. Such representation was required to be decided by the concerned official-respondent within a period of three months from the date of filing of representation i.e. on or before 31st

Patna High Court MJC No.1491 of 2022 dt.23-04-2024 2/2 April, 2022, on the other hand, order has been complied on 19.04.2024, there is enormous delay.

2. Be that as it may, there is no application on behalf of the National Small Industry Corporation Ltd.-respondent insofar as seeking extension of time to comply the orders of this court dated 04.01.2022 read with petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2022. Therefore, it is a clear case of Contempt of Court. However, having regard to the fact that certain amount has been disbursed in favour of the petitioner vide communication dated 19.04.2024 (Annexure-A) to the show cause, it suffice that there is a belated compliance. However, petitioner is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified at Rs. 5,000/- Cost shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Cost has been imposed on account of delay in complying the orders of this court.

3. Accordingly, the present MJC petition stands dropped.
