Learned counsel for the petitioners has filed affidavit which is taken on record.

This application has been filed for quashing of F.I.R vide Kotwali (Barari) P.S. Case No. 74 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 498A, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Both the parties have jointly submitted that they have

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10569 of 2021(8) dt.11-04-2023 2/2 entered into a compromise and in view of the settlement between the parties, the proceedings may be quashed. In view of the submission of both the parties that they have entered into a compromise and considering the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in case of Jaswant Singh Vs State of Punjab reported in 2021 SCC Online SC 1007, this application is allowed.

The F.I.R vide Kotwali (Barari) P.S. Case No. 74 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 498A, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and all consequential proceedings arising out of the aforesaid F.I.R. are hereby quashed.
