The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No.38 of 2018/RC Case No.8A/2018 CBI/ACB/Patna P.S. Case No.RC0232018A0008/2018 registered under Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, in presence of the learned standing counsel for the CBI, submits that, earlier, while the bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 29.11.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No.62485 of 2018 but liberty was given to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47768 of 2019(5) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 after completion of one year in custody. The period of more than one year has already elapsed of passing of the aforesaid order and the petitioner is in custody since 07.06.2018. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, CBI-1, Patna, in connection with Special Case No.38 of 2018/RC Case No.8A/2018 CBI/ACB/Patna P.S.
