JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered under Sections 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation in brief is that the informant entered into the negotiation for marriage of his daughter with the son of the petitioner but later on some money was given to him but she refused to solemnize the marriage because his further demand of dowry.

It is submitted that in fact both sides compromised this case and earlier on the basis of the compromise some of the petitioner before whom marriage was fixed with the informant's

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30551 of 2017 (2) dt.10-07-2017 2/2 daughter was granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 27.4.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.52145 of 2016. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the concerned court, let the petitioner, namely, Chandra Bhushan Prasad be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa Nalanda in connection with Complaint Case No.565(C) of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
