JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-07-2017 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chakiya P. S. Case No. 122 of 2014 instituted under Sections 304B/34 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation, in brief, is that the petitioner is said to have killed his wife for not fulfilling demand of dowry within 08 months of marriage.
It is submitted that the petitioner's wife died natural death and with the consent of the mother of the deceased, her dead body was cremated.
Having considered the specific allegation against the petitioner and the nature of offence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
