Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. The police got information that one Ranjay Kumar got firearm injury and on such information the police went there and on search one country made pistol, two live cartridges and two empty cartridges were recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Ranjay Kumar had brought the pistol and he sustained injury. Thereafter he was sent to hospital for treatment. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the fact that the arms were not recovered from the possession of the petitioner but from perusal of the first information report it appears that the same was

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38224 of 2014 (3) dt.28-01-2015 2/2 brought by Ranjay Kumar who also got injury while cleaning the pistol, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M, Patna in Sri Krishnapur P.S.
