17-11-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Earlier, the bail petition of petitioner was rejected twice. Lastly, the prayer for bail was rejected, vide order dated 07.04.2021 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 23957 of 2020, on the ground that out of five witnesses, two witnesses have already been examined.

The trial court report dated 21.10.2021, which was called for vide Court's order dated 06.10.2021, reveals that the case is still pending for prosecution evidence and no new witness has been examined thereafter, even after lapse of several months.

Considering the nature of accusation and progress of the trial, the bail petition of petitioner is rejected. However,

No.58852 of 2021(3) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably; within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order, failing which, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
