2. This writ application has been filed for issuance of a direction to the respondent authorities not to take possession of land of the petitioners bearing Khata No. 1 Khesra No. 249 Area 45 Decimals situated at Mauza- Chanda District- Buxar

Patna High Court CWJC No.5863 of 2016(3) dt.04-12-2023 2/2 without any payment of compensation to the petitioners as also not to disturb the legal possession of the petitioners over the plot No. 249 without any order of the competent court.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners requests for disposal of the writ application granting liberty to the petitioners to file fresh representation before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Buxar (Respondent No. 4).

4. Considering the submission made on behalf of the petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that, in the event such representation is filed by the petitioners within a period of six weeks from today, Respondent No. 4 is directed to dispose of the same after hearing the parties in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of filing of such representation.

5. With the above observation, the writ application stands disposed of.
