The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 142 of 2022, dated 19.05.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 307 and 447 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Though, in the F.I.R. the petitioner has

The petitioner is an accused in several other criminal cases also in which he is on bail. The F.I.R. further discloses that sometimes prior to the occurrence, the cousin of the informant was also shot at, for which the petitioner and others were made accused.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 26.04.2022.

From the perusal of the order impugned, it appears that the victim/informant had received grievous injuries.

Considering the nature of the offence and the manner of occurrence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. The prayer for grant of bail of the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected.
