That, this is an application for the issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, and directions to the respondents concerned and especially

Patna High Court CWJC No.10131 of 2024(2) dt.01-08-2024 2/2 to the respondents no.8 and 9, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur and Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur and other police authorities to assist and co-operate with the members of the petitionerSociety in containing cruelty committed towards the animals and, take immediate appropriate actions against the persons who are committing cruelty towards the animals as it is an offence, or pass such other order/orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed.
