JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-03-2021 The present petition has been filed for modifying the order dated 10.06.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10620 of 2020 to the extent that the time granted for surrendering before the learned court below in order to avail the privilege of regular bail, as granted by this Court, be extended by a further period of four weeks. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that on account of the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID 19, the petitioners could not surrender before the learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9961 of 2021(2) dt.03-03-2021 2/2 court below within the time fixed by this Court, hence, they be shown some mercy and the period for surrendering before the Ld. court below be extended.

Per contra, the learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the leaned counsel for the petitioners and taking into account the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to grant four weeks' further time from today to the petitioners herein to surrender before the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Spl. Judge, Nawada in connection with Kawakole P.S.Case No. 395 of 2019.

Accordingly, the order dated 10.06.2020 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.

The present petition stands disposed of.
