2. Both the writ applications involve the issue of genuineness of certificates of the petitioners.

3. Considering the recent trend where forged certificates are certified as genuine by the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna leading to filing of criminal case, the Court is

Patna High Court CWJC No.3074 of 2012 dt.02-08-2018 2/2 constrained to dispose of these writ applications with a direction to the Bihar School Examination Board to verify the certificates of these petitioners. It shall be the responsibility of the Chairman and the Secretary of the Board to certify about the genuineness of the certificates of the petitioners after verification from the record of the Board by the officials of the Board.

4. The petitioners are hereby directed to submit their respective certificates within a fortnight from today before the Secretary of the Board so that the verification and authenticity of the certificates may be done by the Chairman and Secretary of the Board within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certificates.

5. In case, certificates are found to be genuine after verification and authenticated by the Chairman and Secretary of the Board, the respondents are required to grant all consequential benefits to these petitioners within a further period of four months from the date of verification of the certificate of the petitioners.

6. With the aforesaid, both the writ applications stand disposed of.
