In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Fatehpur P.S. Case No. 184 of 2010 registered for offences under sections 224 and 225 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made that the petitioner who is an accused of Fatehpur P.S. Case No. 71 of 2010 registered for offences under sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code was brought in Thana Hajat and from there he along with other coaccused persons slipped away. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner with respect to the present case is in custody since 17th June 2014.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38989 of 2014 (2) dt.14-01-2015 2/2 this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this petition is rejected. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after one year of jail custody.
