JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 12-03-2021 The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction upon the respondents to make payment of ex-gratia amount of a sum of Rs. 4,00,000/- to the petitioner on account of death of his father in harness, while he was posted as a Homeguard at Maduban police station in the district of Motihari.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be approaching the respondent no.2 i.e. the Principal Secretary, Department of Home, Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances in consonance with the policy of the Government, contained in resolution dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.2897 of 2021(2) dt.12-03-2021 2/2 3.7.2015 issued by the Home (Special) Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no.2 with regard to redressal of his grievances and in case any representation is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by the respondent no.2 within a period of six weeks, thereafter in accordance with law.
