The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the earlier application for bail of the petitioners was rejected vide order dated 7.4.2021 (Annexure 1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 41066 of 2020 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after completing one year in custody. The petitioners are in custody since 5.9.2020.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

No.57028 of 2021(2) dt.29-09-2021 2/2 taking into consideration the observation given in the aforesaid order dated 7.4.2021 together with petitioners having remained in custody for over one year, the Court directs the petitioners to be enlarged on bail in connection with C-2 Case no. 336 of 2020 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge II, Sitamarhi.
