The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sheikhpur P.S. Case No. 338 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 489(A), 489(B), 489(E) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has crept on the confessional statement of co-accused, whereas in the F.I.R., there is the person who has tendered the amount in the Bank is one lady namely Saba Praveen.

I have considered the submissions, having noticed the aforesaid facts, this Court is of the opinion that matter relates to recovery of counter-fit notes, also require further investigation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55906 of 2021(2) dt.25-02-2022 2/2 regarding persons who were distributing such counter-fit notes and this type of offence shall affect the entire society. The name of the petitioner has crept during investigation, I am not inclined to grant benefit of anticipatory bail to the above named petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
