2. The petitioner seeks bail in Bettiah Town (Kalibagh O.P.) P.S. Case No. 816 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section-379 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Allegedly, the Scorpio of the informant, parked in front of his house, was stolen away by some unknown miscreants.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is nothing against the petitioner in the present case. He was arrested in Uttar Pradesh in connection with another case and his confessional statement was elicited in that case on the basis thereof, he has been made accused in the present case. The

5. It appears that in the present case, except the criminal antecedent, there is nothing against the petitioner. He is under custody since 06-02-2024.

5. Mr. J. N. Thakur, learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Town (Kalibagh O.P.) P.S. Case No. 816 of 2023 with condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the trial of the case and make himself available as and when required by the court.
